The 33,000-square-foot arena is one of the largest indoor arenas in the United States and can accommodate up to 1,500 people. It is a great venue for meetings, meetings or exhibitions and home to Iowa State's largest outdoor sporting event, the Ames Ice Arena.

During the pandemic, Iowa State was unable to train and train without a coach.
